Winter Flowers Workshop
Sunday 8 June, 5-7pm.
Arrange and then draw the winter flowers with me.
Winter in the flower field is quieter, the flowers are mostly in hibernation and the creativity is all about texture and appreciating the details. Floral ingredients are longer lasting, the colour palette is soft, and the scale is smaller.
Join me for a social, creative, winter workshop over a couple of warming beverages and platters at Speight’s Ale House, Greymouth.
I will share design techniques for arranging seasonal floral ingredients. After arranging your own flowers and foliage, have a go at drawing the details before making an easy monoprint to take home alongside your arrangement.
