Spring in the flower field is a time of awakening. The days are lengthening and the jewels of the spring garden are unfurling from their slumber beneath the soil. There is plenty of rain here in the spring but the flowers are bold, painterly, juicy and romantic and signal the end of winter, providing a riot of sunshine in the vase.

Join me for a couple of creative, social workshops in the garden, experience the seasonal awakening firsthand and take home your own memento of spring.

Following a tour of the flower field, you will arrange the spring flowers along with me while I share techniques for arranging in the vase.

In a second workshop, you will be guided in drawing and painting the spring flowers with me, at Speight’s Ale House where you can make the most of their cocktail list and take home your own original painting!
